The more I learn about anthropology and paleoanthropology, the more I see how bad modern systems and infrastructure are for humans.
Humans are territorial animals that tend to live in small tribes, so let’s push a bunch of us into one condensed area, I’m sure that won’t cause a significant amount of violence, or civil unrest.
Humans are inquisitive and nurturing animals that love to learn and teach, which is why treat teachers poorly, and restrict people’s access to education by putting up arbitrary paywalls.
Humans are compulsively social creatures, so it’s good then that we are constantly discouraged from empathizing with others and make it more and more difficult to organize social events in service of constantly doing unnecessary labor for people we will never know or meet.
Humans are co-operative and compassionate animals, so let’s make a socio-economic system that discourages all of that and instead amplifies our territorial nature by forcing us to compete with other individuals in our communities.
